Cannabis Recall: Banned Pesticide Found in California Product
California cannabis company, Grizzly Peak Farms has recalled its product "Zoap," after finding it contaminated with a pesticide banned in 2020 - chlorfenapyr. The extent and duration of the contamination is unclear. The California Department of Cannabis Control has halted sales from the adulterated batch. The company, which claims to be pesticide-free, had faced a lawsuit in 2020 for unpaid taxes on cannabis products.
